Cafe Del Sol in Kassel

No matter which Cafe del Sol goes to so far, they have all been great. Food, staff and the ambience just great. Always worth a visit. There is no parking problem here either.

Attentive and friendly staff. Drinks great. The currywurst I ordered was unfortunately not that good. The sauce was way too sweet.

Again it was very tasty and sufficient. The service is very friendly and attentive 👍

The staff is always friendly and courteous. Always nice for a little break.

So where do you start? One hour waiting for the food, with my pizza lying near the oven ready rum for 30 minutes. (Apparently a new one was made, but the pizza was lukewarm when it was brought) All food plates were "passed through" by the waitress so that almost everyone had contact with the plates, which is not advisable in times of Corona. The Spezi clearly tasted like detergent. The tables stuck together. (Partly probably from the disinfectant? Change the provider if necessary. The schnitzel holiday for half a schnitzel ... When you reorder, you get half a schnitzel and then simply what is available, you order turkey, it comes pork .. great. Salad is not served even though it is ordered. Conclusion for me, Cafe de Sol we saw each other last time no matter where.

It's always nice there. Is pretty cheap to meet someone where both have to drive, regional highways and motorway triangle. Food service and drinks are okay. Nice service and atmosphere😀

Cafe Del Sol in Kassel it's a Very Nice place! Good to be with friends together for lunch or dinner, or birthdays celebrations, the staffs also friendly, the foods are yummy! Highly recommended! I had good experienced as well with Cafe Del Sol in Erfurt

The service was friendly, drinks and food came quickly and tasted good. Prices were okay (drinks are a bit expensive) There is enough parking space and also big enough. Visually very nice from the inside, I had nothing to complain about.

Monday equals savings day and not in a positive sense. Food on the menu was partly no longer available, with the alternative food food was left out and only explained on request that this is unfortunately also off. The mayo fell off the tray while serving, unfortunately there was no replacement. Drinks were forgotten. The dishes from the schnitzel holiday were reduced so a smaller portion was brought to the table.

Always my pleasure. Service friendly, burgers delicious, prices OK and a nice atmosphere. What more could you want 🙂 And there are plenty of parking spaces too 🙂

The sweet potato fries are way too little for this price! Food was cold. Cutlery came much later than the food. Price ratio is not right. Disappointing. Went here with friends. Once and not again!

The staff was friendly and very attentive. The food is delicious. Ambience invites you to linger. I can only recommend! It would be great if there would be something like that near me. 👍

Unfortunately very long waiting times. The ambience was very relaxed, but the wait for ketchup was too long! Pizza looked good, and tasted good too. The burger was very dry and badly in need of more sauce! Schnitzel were very crispy but didn't look very appetizing, the sauce was made directly over both schnitzel, which we also regretted very much as we couldn't make the decision ourselves! Portions are by no means in good proportion to the price! All in all a good idea, but with strong errors in the system! The food should be worked on urgently, otherwise the ambience of a fries booth would be more suitable for the food, only that it goes faster there! ^^

Absolute disappointment. 1 star for the location. Most of the time I am happy to rate as you can read. What I experienced yesterday was incredible. Due to Corona, the QR code has to be scanned. It didn't work for me at first. Then the waitress female, 'first scan the QR code, then there is the card', as I asked for the card. Another attempt worked. I entered my details, then I also tried to open the food and drink menu via the Internet, but this didn't work. I informed the waitress about that. She then said I should try the internet. I told her that it didn't work, which was actually too much of a phrase, if a customer wants the card, it shouldn't be a problem to give him the card. Maybe I can't read either, I'm blind as a mole or or or. I expect to receive a card as a guest. In any case, she threw the card on the table and I left the restaurant. I tried again to speak to a lady at the bar when I asked about the manager, but she didn't understand me either and said that I was angry that I had to scan the QR code and my data had to give up. I said that this was a matter of course and had to be done. Since she did not understand me despite several explanations that I was concerned with the unprofessionalism of the waitress, the harsh word and the throwing of the card, I left the restaurant. Once there and never again.

Broken glass on my chair, dead mouse right next to us, waited over 1 hour for food, the spare ribs were inedible and tasted musty like in a damp cellar, and after we said that the food was not good, the waiter said: " Yes, we know that, it comes from the process used, we don't have a grill ". Sorry but that's just wrong on several levels ... if you already know that it doesn't taste good then either say it in advance or take it off the menu ... Either way, that was the last time we were there for dinner.

The service is nice, the street is already noisy on the terrace. The price of the food is okay, but the pizza is not my cup of tea tastes like roofing felt with tomato sauce. Not tried the other dishes. It's not the first address, but it's fine for meeting friends.

The service was just plain bad. We made a reservation for 5 people and said that a stroller was included. Service saw that the child can sit, but does not bring a high chair. When asked, we were given a dirty chair, which we cleaned ourselves with disinfectant wipes (during Corona times). We asked for a napkin for the baby (who was the only one at the table and in the evening was given something to eat, because it was still given glasses). The napkin was still not there in the hour and a half. You could not use the changing table because there were no disinfectant wipes and also no wipes where you could put the child on it (I remind you of Corona and general hygiene, I do not put my child with the bare bottom on a plastic shelf, where possibly Others have already been lying ...). Back to the orders: We only got drinks after we had sat in the restaurant for 1 hour. When ordering the meal, we were told that 80% of the menu was out of stock, why not say what is available when greeting the guest ?! In addition, most of the goods are frozen, because we asked if the burger and schnitzel were freshly made. Starters took longer than half an hour (baguette with aioli). However, the next table that came after us already has its drinks and food. When canceling the meal, they asked why, but the answer didn't matter anyway, as the shift management (Sunday 30.08.2020 between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.) then said: Yes, I can't change anything. It would have been customer-oriented if he had said: We're sorry for the long wait, the drinks are on the house. But no, instead he knocks out the bill in annoyance and expects us to pay together ... I would like to remind you that the restaurant was only half full because of Corona and I've never seen anything like this in Café del sol!

Nice and tasty food. I recommend pork dishes

The food was really delicious, but what displeased us was apparently "good friends", i.e. fellow countrymen and women without a problem got a place on the terrace. In itself we have no problem with it, but it was very striking that there were enough free places, but we as Germans and subsequent people were only allowed to take a seat inside. It is a shame that it was differentiated.

Had another short meeting there. The request for a quiet seat was immediately met. The service has been discreet but present. The music was subtle, you could have a good conversation. Always my pleasure......

Lovely, large restaurant with outdoor seating. The menu is large and ecclectic. The food was quite average. Service was friendly. Large drink selection. There isn't much in this area so it is a decent choice. They also have a kids menu with good options and crayons

Very nice and comfortable atmosphere. International selection of food in good quality. In contrast, the drink prices are a little too high. Especially the staff is to be praised, super nice and accommodating. Always happy here.

Nice burgers and pizzas

It's like Chili's for Germany. Nothing is terrible, and nothing is outstanding. Nice interior but mediocre service even for Europe.

The Restaurant in general is ok. They people are nice but its not really flexible. They do have nowadays some great vegan options incl. coffees. We went here at least fours years in a row.

Cafe Del Sol is a beautiful Restaurant in Kassel with a big and free of charge parking lot.

Food was good. Atmosphere was trendy but cool. All together enjoyable!

Prelijep prostor sa sposobnim i profesionalnim osobljem. Razna pića, snack, pizza... Prostor je odličan bilo za izlazak u dvoje ili za zabavu sa većim društvom. Preporuka. --------------------------------- A wonderful place with competent and professional staff. Different drinks, meals, pizzas ... The place was great for going out for two or for a party with a bigger company. Recommendation. ---------------------------------
